Well-Being Counseling, Coaching and Consulting is owned and operated by Melanie Olson.


The mission of Well-Being Counseling, Coaching and Consulting is to partner with you to create optimal health and wellbeing for your mind, body and spirit.

Melanie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) 

She has worked in the field of mental health since 2000

Melanie is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist (AFPA). 

She has studied and practiced integrative, complimentary and holistic health approaches for over 20 years and is committed to serving people in a way that promotes and facilitates transformation and positive, life-long change.  Melanie provides nutrition coaching. She is not a dietician.


Melanie is a Certified Health and Wellness Coach through American Council on Exercise (ACE)

Melanie is a Certified Personal Trainer through American Council on Exercise (ACE)

Melanie is a Registered Hatha Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) since 2010.

The foundation of Melanie's philosophy is a genuine honor and respect for diversity on all levels of the human experience. Each person is honored for their individual uniqueness, needs, desires and lifestyle.

  • Health Coaching enhances the quality of your life in the areas of nutrition for health and wellbeing, healthy habit development and overcoming obstacles to maintain healthy habits, weight management, fitness and exercise, addressing lifestyle factors such as sleep hygiene, substance use and misuse, tobacco use, provides education on the impact of lifestyle change to support one's healing journey through illness, etc.
  • Personal Training opens the door to explore the power of physical activity in all aspects of life.
  • Movement Therapy - "Walk and Talk" is a way for us to connect and talk as we move to promote real life changes.
  • Holistic Nutrition Coaching provides integrative nutrition education about eating healthy food as close to its natural state as possible for optimum health and wellbeing.
